The Technical Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy, positioning, and storytelling. This individual will sit at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, translating complex technical concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with CISOs, security engineers, and technical buyers. As an early hire, they will have the unique opportunity to build the product marketing function from the ground up and directly influence company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, differentiated, and technically credible positioning and messaging for the product portfolio.
- Content Development: Create compelling technical content including whitepapers, solution briefs, demo scripts, customer presentations, and competitive battlecards.
- Sales Enablement: Equip the go-to-market team with the tools, narratives, and training to effectively communicate value to customers and prospects.
- Launch Strategy: Drive product and feature launches, working closely with product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure successful adoption.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive and market research to inform product roadmap and GTM strategies.
- Customer Voice: Engage with customers and prospects to understand their challenges, use cases, and feedback to refine messaging and positioning.
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or solutions engineering, ideally within cybersecurity or developer tooling.
- Strong ability to synthesize technical details into concise, compelling messaging for both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience supporting enterprise B2B go-to-market teams at an early-stage startup.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing high-impact content.
- Familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape (network security, cloud security, identity, or related domains).
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment.
