Our client, a Series A cybersecurity company, is seeking an exceptional Head of Sales to accelerate the growth of their $5M ARR business and play a pivotal role as the CEO’s right hand in shaping and executing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven leader to join a high-growth business at a critical inflection point. Initially, the role will operate as a player-coach, driving direct sales while building the foundation of a world-class sales organization. Over time, the position will evolve into a Vice President of Sales role, responsible for scaling the team, processes, and revenue engine to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition and expand existing customer relationships to rapidly grow ARR.
  • Partner closely with the CEO to refine and execute GTM strategy, including sales, partnerships, and pipeline development.
  • Act as both an individual contributor and team leader, balancing hands-on selling with building and mentoring the sales function.
  • Establish scalable sales processes, metrics, and performance management systems to support long-term growth.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales team as the company expands.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to align commercial goals and deliver value to customers.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
  • Experience in scaling ARR from ~$5M towards $20M+ within a venture-backed business.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both tactical and executive levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and lead high-performing sales teams.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, with the drive to build processes from the ground up.
  • Excellent communicator, with the gravitas to operate as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team.
