Our client, a fast-growing Series B cybersecurity company, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. This individual will play a critical role in driving technical sales engagements, working closely with enterprise customers, and supporting the sales team with in-depth product expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical expert and trusted advisor to prospective and existing customers, articulating the value of the company’s cybersecurity solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical evaluations to showcase the platform’s capabilities.
- Partner with the sales team to understand customer pain points and tailor solutions that align with their security needs.
- Provide pre-sales support, including responding to RFPs, developing technical presentations, and addressing complex security requirements.
- Act as a liaison between customers, product management, and engineering teams to relay feedback and influence product roadmaps.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging threats, and competitive solutions to effectively position the company’s offerings.
- Assist in onboarding and training new customers to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the platform.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions engineering role within cybersecurity or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including network security, cloud security, identity & access management (IAM), endpoint security, and threat intelligence.
- Experience conducting proof-of-concept trials and working with enterprise security teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with security tools, scripting, and enterprise environments is a plus.
- Strong presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
