Position Overview
The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of the firm’s systems and data. You will be responsible for automating processes, conducting threat assessments, and implementing robust security measures across the network, server, and endpoint levels. Responsibilities
- Automate security processes and procedures to create a highly resilient infrastructure
- Conduct threat assessments and provide recommendations at the network, server, and endpoint levels
- Participate in threat and vulnerability management exercises to reduce attack surface
- Investigate anomalous activities and generate actionable reports for senior management
- Analyze data sets using tools such as SQL, Python, and Pandas to produce insightful reports
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure robust security measures
Requirements
- Proficiency in a programming language (Python, Go, etc.) for automation tasks
- Comfort using Linux shell for system troubleshooting and understanding
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting across the stack
- Knowledge of DNS, SSL/TLS, and secure traffic establishment on IP networks
- Understanding of secure Identity Management and Authentication principles
